FEATURES

We employ 24 staff members full time between the two facilities, including cooks, housekeepers, activities personnel, caregivers and office staff.  All of our staff members have taken caregiving training, dementia training, and mental health training as well as 12 hours of yearly continuing education classes.  They are also certified for Nurse Delegation, which means that they can administer medications, creams, eye drops and patches after being delegated to by one of our Nurse Delegators.  Our caregivers are awake at night and ensure that residents are dry and clean.  Nurse Calll pendants are provided to those residents who will use them.

Specific caregiving tasks include assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing as well as assistance with feeding, if necessary.  A block of time is set aside for each resident every morning and evening for caregiving assistance and that amount of time varies from person to person, depending on the needs of the resident.   We have a general shower room that is heated from above and we provide full or partial assistance during the showering.  We provide daily housekeeping and 3 meals per day, plus snacks.
